i.   Get approval from advisors !!

ii.   Contact local skate rink:

• Determine a date, time, and payments

*some places may allow you to offer the entry fee at a discounted price*

• Determine if there will be any chaperones needed and discuss with club advisors as necessary

• Ask for permission to sell beverages or sweets, in this case hot chocolate

*as well as permission to use an electronic heater, or use insulated drink dispensers to help keep drinks warm

iii.   Create a presale Google Form

• If the rink allows a discounted price, include that on the presale form

*Include the option of cash (at meeting) or venmo for presale attendees

• Don’t keep the attendees limited to just those who filled out the form, ALLOW WALK INS!!! Although they might have to pay a few more dollars it maximizes the club’s earnings!

iv.   Have fun and enjoy a nice warm cup of hot chocolate !

1. Ice skating makes a great hangout with friends and also allows us to make some fun memories. So don't get too consumed on how much profit you'll gain, warm up those hands and hit the ice !!!
